KIA YN mini-MPVSEOUL : February 6, 2009 - The star of Kia’s display at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show on 3 March will redefine the "YN" - mini MPV segment bringing style and cool to what is currently a bland segment of the new car market.
This B-segment mini-MPV is based on the Soul platform. That means production versions will use that car’s 1.6-litre engines, but also expect downsized units such as Hyundai’s new 1.2-litre. The wheelbase and track will be slightly different from the Soul’s, and interior flexibility will be emphasised, with sliding rear bench seat and the unique glass roof treatment to create a cool and spacious automotive powerhouse.
